BoB100 Basingstoke 7 September. Only a fool would miss it

BoB100 – Basingstoke. Thursday 7 September.

Arrive with 100 of your business cards and leave with 100 different ones.

What does every successful business owner crave more of?

Time is the asset that helps you build your business into what you want it to be. Time is actually your dream-maker!

If you’re a Hampshire business, we have something for you that is a good use of time and which could accelerate the development of your business.

I’m Nick Shrimpton, and I have gained business as a direct result of attending BoB100 events in other parts of Hampshire. The same can happen for you and your  business.

BoB100 – Basingstoke. Thursday 7 September.

In exchange for less than a morning’s worth of time, you can be with 100 other business people looking to make connections and create opportunities. BoB100 is a proven business connections model. We have held similar meetings in Southampton and Farnborough in the past year and have stories of people winning clients and work having attended these events. Here’s how it works:

6:30 Look out 100 business cards.

Arrival. Grab yourself a coffee or a tea. It’s early for everyone so you’ve immediately got your ice-breaker to start some conversations!

7:30 Find a place at one of the tables. Help yourself to breakfast and more tea/coffee and get to know those people around you.
8:00 Meeting starts. This is your opportunity to pitch your business in 60 seconds to the room and to hear the same from others. Break for more refreshments before re-assembling and having the opportunity to arrange follow-ups with connections you have met.
10:30 Formal meeting adjourns. Informal networking continues, 1-2-1 follow up meetings get diarised until you feel you have exhausted the opportunities available.

Every new business card is an opportunity for your business. Remember, everyone attending has made the decision themselves to come along. They, like you, are looking for connections to help them.

Ask yourself the question. How many meetings would I need to attend to get 100 new connections? BoB100 is a great use of your limited time. BoB100 has worked for people in Southampton and in Farnborough. We know it will work in Basingstoke. The next question is, will you be there to take advantage?

Don’t miss out on this Basingstoke business development event.

Booking your place couldn’t be easier.

Places are booked through Eventbrite. You must book ahead of time.

Great post Nick. #BoB100 not only provides an opportunity to gain business, it has also provided me with some excellent new suppliers who have helped me to deliver a better service to my clients.
